How does it work?

Purchase your HOP! PASS online, for ADULTS or FAMILIES (the family rate includes 2 adults + all children aged 17 and under living at the same address).

You receive a PDF version of your pass by email and keep it on your phone, or print out a hard copy.

Present it at the entrance of the participating institutions. Before heading out, be sure to check the opening dates of each museum.

What is the HOP! pass?
The HOP! pass is a museum pass that gives you discounted access to 6 cultural institutions along the Townships trail, plus exclusive discounts at select partner businesses. One purchase, one year of discovery.
How much does the pass cost?
The pass is available in two options: ADULT and FAMILY. The family rate includes 2 adults and all children 17 and under living at the same address.
How does the pass work?
After purchasing online, you receive your pass by email in PDF format. Keep it on your phone or print it out, then present it at the entrance of each participating institution when you visit.
How long is it valid?
The HOP! pass is valid for 12 months from the beginning of the month of your purchase.
How many visits are included?
The pass gives you 1 admission to each of the 6 participating institutions during its validity period.
Which institutions are included?
The Beaulne Museum in Coaticook, the Ulverton Wool Mill, the Merry House in Magog, the Colby-Curtis Museum in Stanstead, the Richmond County History Museum, and the Richmond Musée de l'ardoise.
Are all museums open at the same time?
No. Each institution has its own hours and seasons. We recommend checking the opening dates for each before making the trip.
What discounts are available at partner businesses?
The pass provides exclusive discounts at four partners: 25% off guided tours at Fromagerie la Station, 10% off boutique and accommodation purchases at Auberge Le Sunshine, 10% off ObservÉtoiles and VÉloVolant activities at Au Diable Vert, and 10% off the cost of your stay at La Gare Richmond.
How do I use the discounts at partner businesses?
Simply present your HOP! proof of purchase at participating partners. For Fromagerie la Station, a promo code will be provided at the time of purchase — reservations must be made directly on their website.
Can I give the pass as a gift?
Yes, the HOP! pass also makes a wonderful gift for anyone who loves culture and heritage in the Eastern Townships. Simply forward your purchase confirmation email (including attachments) to the person you'd like to treat.
Why aren't certain museums part of the HOP! pass?
The HOP! pass is an initiative of the Townships Trail, offered to establishments that are part of our network of Étapes. Participation is voluntary — each venue is free to choose whether to take part. Our network continues to grow, and we hope to welcome new partners in future editions!
